Bordowa/Bordua /Bardua /Borduwa history.

Ancient Time this area on the banks of the Brahmaputra (Brahmaputra river) is known to be a watery place full of very Borduba or dovers. Apart from Shrimant Shankardev, the male bhuyans lived there in the village of Pond Khandi by tying an ali. It is believed that the name of the area has been buried in the faces of the people because it is full of great or great respect. According to another legend Kundil Kunwari Rukmini sent a Brahmin named Vednidhi to Sri Krishna requesting him not to be killed. When Sri Krishna came to Kundil Nagar from Dwarka with Vednidhi, his chariot ran so fast that Vednidhi fainted in the chariot bag. Sri Krishna then put the chariot on the spot and sprinkled water on Vednidhi's cheeks and his consciousness returned. This was followed by a 'very strong' place due to his mass given while climbing sri krishna ratha by resting the khante in the shade of a banyan tree. Since then the region has been known as Bordua [citation required). According to another story he was once in a severe drought. The great man Shrimant Shankardev organized a night-time renaming under a banyan tree to get rid of it as there was no limit to human danger in the drought. The said banyan tree is again said to have formed vishnu's neck from a nome. In time the name-kirtan ended and everything went home. Then, in the middle of the night, Shankardev, accompanied his two disciples, Sarvajoy and Boloram, came down the banyan tree and began to attract Ganga with yoga. The ganga comes down to catch the conjoined force of shankar and the banyan tree is dissolved in that stream and a pleasant sarovar is created there. This sarovar is known as Akashiganga for bringing down ganga from the sky. This place is also known as Batadrava because it is a 'bot solution'. At present both borduwa and batadrava names are applied in the same sense.

Second Gate

Shankardev is said to have decorated the first Kirtan Ghar (Namghar) in Bordua. This is where Shankardev pretends to be the first sign. Shankardev started the Fakua and Daul festivals in Bordua in 1470 at the age of 21. In 1516-17, Shankardev left Bordua for security reasons. After Shankardev, Bordua was restored in 1656 in the art industry of Shankardev's son Haricharan Thakur, granddaughter Kanakalata and Bhagin Damodar. Satra is re-energized. Thus, after hundreds of years, the dispute between Shankardev's successors resulted in the division of two entities, Bordua Satra (Naruah Satra) and (Salaguri Satra). However, in 1958, the common kirtan ghar was officially opened between Barhisa and Sarohisa.
