A few days ago, assam's new chief minister Himanta Biswa Sharma reached the project site and took stock of the situation. He also said that the work on the Batdrava project will be completed within 18 months. The Chief Minister also said that every month Assam Government Cultural Department Minister Bimal Bora will be visiting the Batdrava project. Ex Mla Angurlata deka, Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, Cultural Minister Bimal Bora and Nagaon Mla Rupak Sharma of Batadraba constituencies have frequently inspected the project site.
